Deputy Chief Executive & Executive Director of Corporate Services

David Wallace has spent almost 20 years working with the Scottish Government (formerly The Scottish Executive) and currently heads up Corporate Services within AiB. This covers responsibility for ICT, Human Resources, Finance, Facilities Management, Corporate Strategy, Business Planning, Communications, Procurement and major Contract Management.

David joined the Agency in 2005 from the Scottish Government's Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning directorate where he spent 6 years. Three of which were spent as Private Secretary to the Head of the Department assisting with the corporate governance, business planning, financial management and operations. Where latterly, David worked closely with Scottish Enterprise on a number of enterprise initiatives including establishing the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS).

David has also held a number of roles in HR and Policy across Scottish Government. He is graduate of both Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
