Head of Policy Development

Sharon Bell has worked in the Scottish Government since 2000. Prior to joining the Accountant in Bankruptcy in April 2004 in charge of Case Operations Branch, Sharon worked on Student Support Policy for four years within the Executive's Enterprise and Lifelong Learning Department.

Following her successful appointment to Head of Policy Development in 2007, Sharon and her team are working to deliver bankruptcy reforms, update legislation and produce policy for personal and corporate insolvencies in Scotland.

An MBA graduate, during her career she has worked in the Financial sector, Construction Industry and the Retail Sector.
