The policy team are responsible for the pre legislation stage of bankruptcy and diligence reform. Policy is the process by which governments translate their political vision into programmes and actions to deliver "outcomes" (desired changes in the real world).
Sharon Bell is Head of Policy Development for AiB.
Policy team duties include;
- presentations and speeches for Ministers and senior staff;
- liaison with Stakeholders and counterparts in the UK Insolvency Service;
- liaison with Policy holders in the Scottish Government Legal Directorate and UK Government;
- dealing with Ministerial Correspondence;
- answering Parliamentary Questions;
- dealing with Freedom of Information requests and briefing materials.
