Key Issue
A substantial proportion of Accountant in Bankruptcy (AiB) resources are spent on goods, services and works procured from third parties. We are currently at the intial stages of a tender exercise for Contracted Out Insolvency Services, to replace the current Agency scheme, during 2008/2009 financial year.
The Agency has contracted with Brian Farrington Ltd an experienced specialist provider who will hold group sessions in conjunction with the launch of the Pre-Qualification and Tender stages. The Agency will not participate in these sessions and is providing this independent expertise to both current and potential providers who may have no prior experience of the public tendering process.
The main objectives of these events are to:
- Provide an overview of AiB, Procurement and it's future state within the Agency
- Provide detail on the PQQ process including timelines and expectations
- Provide Technical support in using the e-Sourcing Tool as a Supplier
- Provide independent advice to bidders on approach to tender
These first regional events will also be used to describe our Vision and Approach for the new contract, as detailed in the supporting publications
