What is best for you will depend on a number of things including your personal circumstances and whether you have any property or assets.

The Accountant in Bankruptcy cannot give you advice on what you should do but you can get free and impartial advice from Money Advice Scotland or Citizens Advice Scotland.

The Scottish Government has published a booklet called Debt and the consequences. The Accountant in Bankruptcy has also produced information in the booklet called Debtor's Guide.
