The Business Plan summarises the work that AiB plans to undertake in 2008-09 and reflects the priorities set out in the 2006-11 Business Strategy.

The objective of the plan is to communicate to staff and stakeholders the Agency's planned activity and expenditure for the year ahead, providing a high-level roadmap of what AiB intend to do in 2008-09, how the Agency intends to meet its goals and what AiB hope to achieve as a result.

The priorities as set out for 2008-09 contribute to the delivery of the Scottish Government's strategic objectives. The overarching aim of this business plan is to prioritise actions and resources to deliver AiB's strategic objectives and make a positive contribution to the Scottish Government's purpose of creating a more successful country; providing opportunities for all of Scotland to flourish, through increasing sustainable economic growth.
