The Minister for Community Safety, Fergus Ewing MSP has agreed to revoke the above regulations which would have come into force on 1 July 2009.

Information on Bankruptcy Restriction Orders and Bankruptcy Restriction Undertakings in 2008-09 and action taken.
A commitment was made that AiB would carry out an overall review of PTDs. The findings are now published in the Protected Trust Deed Review 2009.

The Debt Action Forum Final report is released today, the report sets out and prepares the way for initiatives which the Scottish Government expect to make a real difference for people in Scotland struggling with debt.
The penultimate DAF and final Repossessions Sub-Group met on 13 May to discuss solutions for those struggling with personal debt.
