Debt Action Forum – All Papers Available

30/06/2009

On 23 June 2009, the Debt Action Forum published the Debt Action Forum Final Report outlining further measures to help Scots who are struggling to deal with debt. The supporting papers considered by the Forum during its lifetime are now also publically available.

Established in January 2009, the Forum, chaired by The Minister for Community Safety, Fergus Ewing MSP, brought together experts from a number of fields including Money Advice Scotland, the Council of Scottish Clearing Bankers, The Confederation of Scottish Local Authorities, the Scottish Legal Aid Board and the Accountant in Bankruptcy.

The work of this group has led to a greater body of collaborative knowledge and positive action measures designed to benefit the people of Scotland. The group's purpose and minutes for all meetings held are also available to view, alongside the Final Report and the official Scottish Government response to the report, in the DAF section of this website.
