Debt Action Forum – Final Meeting

In January 2009 Community Safety Minister Fergus Ewing announced that the Debt Action Forum would be set up, the purpose of the forum was to 'ensure that the Scottish Government does everything in its power to help those in Scotland struggling with personal debt'.

The group met for the final time on 27 May 2009, where debate took place around the completion of the final group report. The group also reflected on how the final group report would affect the remit of the forum.

The final report was published on 23 June 2009.
