Sheriff Grants Four Year BRO

   8 July 2010

On 29 June 2010 the Sheriff, after a Hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court, granted an application by AiB for a Bankruptcy Restrictions Order (BRO) in respect of the debtor Iain Leitch, 18F Fairbairn Street, Dundee DD3 7JJ for a period of four years. The misconduct related to the debtor having systematically visited a number of mobile phone shops and taken out five contracts with different companies within four days but having no intention of making any payments towards them, resulting in an increased debt in excess of £4000. The BRO will remain in force until 25 May 2014.

A full list of all Bankruptcy Restrictions Undertakings and Orders currently in force is available and can also be found, where applicable, on the Register of Insolvencies (RoI).
