AiB Fraser Figure Committee
The role of the Fraser Figure is to act as a focal point within the Scottish Government (SG) for supporting and facilitating the work of AiB in meeting the Agency's objectives and targets.
The Fraser Figure is responsible for:
- advising the Scottish Ministers in the exercise of their responsibilities in relation to Accountant in Bankruptcy,
- ensuring that services are available to support and facilitate the work of the AIB in meeting the Agency's objectives and targets,
- advising the Director General Justice and Communities on how Accountant in Bankruptcy's proposed corporate and business plans fit into wider policy objectives and the level of resources required by Accountant in Bankruptcy, and
- advising Ministers on the level of fees charged by Accountant in Bankruptcy.
Fraser Figure meetings
Meetings are held quarterly. The Fraser Figure will receive information and statistics on the Agency's performance in the format of the Quarterly Performance Report. Minutes of meetings will be published following approval.
