DISSF has a responsibility and duty to:

• Consider and discuss existing and proposed policy and operational response to debt relief, repayment and management solutions for Scotland.
• Provide advice and contribute to the development and delivery of debt relief, repayment and management solutions for Scotland.
• Consider and discuss implementation issues of policy and operational action for creditors, debtors and service delivery partners.
• Consider and discuss operational, policy and strategic matters between the Accountant in Bankruptcy and other DISSF members.
• Consider and discuss operational, policy and strategic matters that will affect delivery of policy and operational action within DISSF members' sectors.
• Consider and discuss any other relevant matters identified by the group in the course of business.
