Contract Management

Whether a contract is local or from a central framework agreement, AiB intend to have some form of contract management in place. This is something they are working towards for all contracts. It is essential that appropriate contract management takes place not only to ensure a healthy working relationship between customers and suppliers but to ensure that both AiB and the suppliers business needs and best interests are being met and also that of the end customers.

The specific criteria used to manage a contract will vary and will depend on what the product or service is, but it will be an expectation that anyone wishing to do business with AiB recognises the need for and importance of this and will work in a partnership with the Agency. Supplier Performance Indicators, targets, areas for improvement, penalties for poor performance are examples of what is likely to be part of this process.
