Frequently Asked Questions - Q9

Q9. How will I know if my application has been successful?

Once AiB receive your application, we will check it to ensure that it has been completed correctly and that you have sent the required supporting evidence together with the application fee.

If you do not send all the supporting evidence we require or the application fee, we will write to you asking you to send us what we need within 21 days. We will return any application that is not correctly completed. If you do not send us what we have asked for within the 21 days, your application may be rejected and you will lose your application fee.
If your bankruptcy is awarded, we will send you a copy of your award, and you will be informed who has been appointed as the trustee in your case.
