Q4. What is a Certificate for Sequestration?

A Certificate for Sequestration is a certificate provided by a money advisor or an insolvency practitioner who, after reviewing the financial information you have provided (statements, pay slips, etc), certifies that you are unable to pay your debts as they become due.

If you are using this route into bankruptcy, the certificate must be dated within 30 days of signing the application pack.
