Renewal of AiB Insolvency Services Contract

   22 May 2012

The Accountant in Bankruptcy Framework Agreement for the supply of Insolvency Services was introduced in April 2009 for a three year period with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The Accountant in Bankruptcy exercised the 12 month extension option, resulting in an expiry date of 31 March 2013. There will be no further extension to the current framework.

The Insolvency Services Framework allows The Accountant in Bankruptcy to use external Providers to administer bankruptcy cases on her behalf, where she has been appointed as trustee.

Work has now commenced on the strategy for a new framework or contract to be in place for 1 April 2013.

A Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been advertised on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) web portal and in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), letting potential bidders know of the forthcoming tender.  Interested parties can access the PIN by registering on the PCS Portal.

The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire and/or the tender documents should be available to interested suppliers around September/October 2012 and will be published in the OJEU and the PCS portal.

If you are an interested supplier, and haven’t already done so, you should register on the PCS and note interest in Financial Services. You should be automatically alerted to any future notices advertised under this commodity.
