New Citizens Advice Bureau service being delivered from AiB's premises
22 June 2012Following a suggestion received during our annual business planning process in 2011-12, we have been working in partnership with North Ayrshire Citizens Advice Services (NACAS) to provide independent money advice on location at Accountant in Bankruptcy's premises.
A pilot exercise has been running since April and a mix of new and existing customers have taken advantage of the independent advice provision.
Bankruptcy and general money advice are amongst the most common enquiries, however, a number of calls have been received regarding DAS and trust deeds. It’s not just local customers who have benefited from this service, customers from as far away as Inverness and Arbroath have also contacted us.
We have actively sought feedback from customers who have used the advice service. All those who have responded so far stated that they were happy with the advice provided and have confirmed that they would put this into practice.
The pilot will run until 31 March 2013 and will be fully evaluated at that time.
