Insolvency practitioner as trustee

Insolvency practitioners are regulated by statutory rules and must be members of an approved body. Therefore, if a trustee is a private sector insolvency practitioner and the issue cannot resolved by speaking to them, the indivdual should contact the practitioner's governing body. Details of who their governing body is can be found on their letter headed paper. You can also write to the Accountant in Bankruptcy or where there are commisioners to them.

If dissatisfied with the actions of the trustee the sheriff can be asked to look into the matter.
