Corporate Insolvency Rules laid in Parliament

The Insolvency (Scotland) (Receivership and Winding Up) Rules was laid in Parliament on 14 November 2018. This consolidates and modernises the existing Insolvency (Scotland) Rules 1986 to achieve broad alignment with changes already in force for corporate insolvency processes in England and Wales. A copy of the Rules can be found here.
As part of corporate insolvency remains reserved to the UK Government, the equivalent UK Statutory Instrument covering Company Voluntary Arrangements and Administration has been laid in the UK Parliament.
