Scenario

The debtor asked for a review of AiB’s decision to reject his bankruptcy application. In their rejection letter AiB noted that the debtor had not responded to their request for additional information within the timescale provided.

Decision

The reviewing officer considered whether AiB had acted appropriately and followed the legislative process when deciding to reject the debtor’s application.
