An overview of actions and objectives for the year ahead.
Sustainability and path to Net Zero by 2045
In 2024–25, AiB completed significant sustainability upgrades to its building, including the installation of LED lighting throughout and the addition of solar panels. As a result, the building’s energy efficiency rating improved dramatically—from a G rating to an A+.
In 2025–26, AiB will build on this success by working with the Scottish Government’s Internal Audit function to receive expert advice and guidance on best practices for planning our route to achieving Net Zero by 2045.
