The draft legislation for the introduction of the The Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2018 has now been laid in parliament. The new regulations are expected to come into force on 29 October 2018 (subject to parliamentary approval).
If approved, these regulations will allow for a more sustainable and flexible scheme making it more accessible for those struggling with debt.
