This guidance describes the general functions of Accountant in Bankruptcy, interim trustees, trustees and commissioners in relation to their responsibilities regarding bankruptcies which started on or after 30 November 2016.

6.5 Removal of commissioners – appeal

An appeal can be made against the sheriff’s decision by the trustee, any commissioner, any creditor or the Accountant within 14 days to the Sheriff Appeal Court.

The Sheriff Appeal Court’s decision is final.
